Day 01 Australia/Kunming

Arrive at Kunming the Capital city of Yunnan.  Picked up by local guide then transfer to hotel.  Free for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Kunming

Starting from today your tour guide will stay with you until they see you off at Kunming Airport on day 9.  Pick up at 08:00 from hotel to Shilin - The Stone Forest Scenic Area known as "No.1 wonder under heaven".  Visit Yunnan Ethnic Village in the afternoon.  You can experience the colourful ethnic costumes, beautiful music and dances, interesting wedding ceremonies, and various ethnic festivals.

Day 03 Kunming

Leave for Dianchi Lake after breakfast.  It is a freshwater fault lake at an altitude of 1,886.5 meters above sea level.  Along the tourist navigation lines visit the Grand View Park, Haigeng and Western Hill Forest Park.

Day 04 Kunming/Dali

Fly to Dali in the morning.  After lunch visit "The Old Town of Dali" - national historical and cultural cities.  The present-day Dali City was built in 1382 during the Ming Dynasty to the west of the old town.

Day 05 Dali

In the morning visit the famous three towering pagodas of San Ta Si, built over 1,000 years ago on the narrow strip of land between Lake Erhai and snow-capped Cangshan Mountain.  Continue on to the colourful morning market at nearby Xizhou where you will have a chance to wander it's cobblestone streets and admire the houses built in the original Bai architectural style.  Enjoy a 'Bai Flavour' lunch including the "Three Courses Tea" ceremony and a traditional dance performance.  Afternoon visit to the exquisitely preserved town of Zhoucheng with its charming courtyard houses and laneways.

Day 06 Dali/Lijiang

Departure for Lijiang (which is also called Dayan Town) by coach.  This old city is a 'living museum' with it's maze of cobbled streets criss-crossed with canals, ornately carved wooding buildings and teahouses.  Visit the local market on Sifang Street.  There are crowded with Naxi women in their traditional dress.

Day 07 Lijiang

Today you will visit the Yufeng Lamasery where you can admire the 500 year old Camellia Tree.  Free in the afternoon.  In the evening enjoy a Naxi Classical Music Show

Day 08 Lijian/Kunming

After breakfast fly back to Kunming.  Transfer to hotel and free the rest of the day.  Over night stay in Kunming.

Day 09 Kunming/Singapore/Australia

Departure for Australia and arrive next morning.
