Travel the Silk Road Tour with Premier Towns Travel, Melbourne

Day 01 Shanghai

Arrive at Shanghai.  Upon your arrival you will be met by the local guide who will take you to ride on the Maglev Train, the fastest train in the world at a speed of 430 KM per hour.  The train departs from the airport and will take only 8 minutes to the terminal where you will be transferred to your hotel. After check in at the hotel, you may have a break for the rest of the day.  You can book your day tour in the hotel tour counter for day 3.

Day 02 Shanghai

After breakfast you will take a day tour in Shanghai, tour including: walk along the Bund to see the spirit of Shanghai, visit Yu Garden.  Back to hotel later in the afternoon.

Day 03 Shanghai

Free in Shanghai and get ready for the long trip or you can have a day trip to some Cities which are close to Shanghai such as Zhouzhuang, Suzhou or Hangzhou.  All these tours can be booked at the hotel counter.

Day 04 Shanghai/Urumqi/Kashi

Leave for airport by hotel shuttle bus.  Fly to Urumqi by XO9904 at 14:15, arrives at 19:30, transit to XO9901 to Kashi at 21:00, arrives at 22:30.  Your local tour guide will take you to the hotel.  Flight schedule may be changed due to the seasonality.  Your air tickets will be ready and will be given to you by your tour guide in Shanghai.

Day 05 Kashi

Your local guide will visit the famous Da Ba Za Market, Muslim Mosque with you.

Day 06 Kashi/Urumqi

Visit Minority Kindergarten.  Back to Urumqi by flight XO9904 at 11:25, arrive at 13:00.  Excursion to the lake of heaven and boat ride on the lake.  Your guide will see you off at the airport and the guide in Urumqi will pick you up and stay with you for the rest of the days and see you off at Lanzhou airport.

Day 07 Urumqi/Trupan

City tour and visit Red Hill Park and museum in the morning.  Leave for Trupan after lunch.  It will take about two hours.  Visit Grape Valley and Jiaohe cities.  A minority dance for your evening entertainment.

Day 08 Trupan/Dunhuang

Visit the Ruins of Gaochang, Ancient Tombs of Astann and flaming Mountain.  Leave for Dunhuang by train (soft sleep).

Day 09 Dunhuang

Visit Singing Hill.  Moon Pool White Horse Pagoda.  Enjoy show in the evening.

Day 10 Dunhuang/Jiayuguang

Visit Mountain Mogao Grottoes.  Leave for Jiayuguang by coach.  It will take about 6 hours.

Day 11 Jiayuguang/Lanzhou

Visit the western end of Great Wall and departure for Lanzhou by WH2204 at 19:00 arrive at 20:20.

Day 12 Lanzhou/Beijing

Visit Liu Jia Xia Dam, Bin Ling Temple, Five-spring Mountain.  Leave for Beijing in the afternoon, arrive in the evening.  Transfer to hotel by your own, over night stay in Beijing.

Day 13 Beijing/Australia

Free in the morning and leave airport due to your flight schedule.  Arrive Australia next morning. (Transportation from hotel to airport arranged by you.)
