Visit three of China's most attractive cities - Beijing, Xian and Shanghai 

Day 01 Shanghai

Arrive at Shanghai. Upon your arrival, you will be met by the local guide, who will take you to ride on the Maglev Train, the fastest train in the world at a speed of 430 KM per hour.  The train departs from the airport and will take only 8 minutes to the terminal where you will be further transferred to your hotel.  After check in at hotel, you may have a break for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Shanghai

After breakfast you will take a full-day tour in Shanghai.  Tour highlighted by walking along the Bund to see the spirit of Shanghai, visiting the 400-year-old Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, one of the best museums in the country and Jade Buddha Temple.  Dinner on your own.

Day 03 Shanghai/Xi'an

Free in the morning.  After lunch fly to Xi'an by FM201 (1350/1605). After check-in at hotel you will have a Dumpling Banquet for dinner.

Day 04 Xi'an

In the morning you will visit The Terra-Cotta Armies which is the Eighth Wonder in the world.  Six thousand life-size terra-cotta soldiers and horses are buried for over two thousand years.  You will spend half day there.  After lunch you will visit Huaqing Hot Spring, which is said to be the bath place of a beautiful concubine of Xuanzong, one of the Emperors of Tang Dynasty.  Back to hotel after dinner.

Day 05 Xi'an/Beijing

Morning tour of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.  After lunch, you will visit the Bell Tower and China's well preserved oldest City Wall with a total length of 14 kilometres.  Then you will be transferred to the railway station to board the train #T42 (1748/0723) for Beijing (you will take soft sleeping car and have dinner aboard on your own).

Day 06 Beijing

Arrive Beijing in the morning.  Check in at the hotel if rooms are ready or leave your luggage there and have a breakfast before the tour of Forbidden City in the morning.  This is the palace of the Chinese Royal Families also for the emperor to hold meetings.  After lunch walk around Tian An Men Square which is three times bigger than Roma Square.  Later in the afternoon you can go shopping in the local market there you can bargain the price.

Day 07 Beijing

Day trip to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs.  Walk through the Spirit Road.  Beijing Duck Banquet dinner.

Day 08 Beijing

Visit Summer Palace, the palace for the Chinese Royal Family to escape the hot summer of Beijing.  In the afternoon visit Temple of Heaven, the place for the Chinese emperor to pray for the good harvest of the country.

Day 09 Beijing

Free till transfer to the airport for Australia in the afternoon, arrive next morning.
